Namibia: Day three

Border Control... first you have to leave SA, then you have to enter Namibia.
We stopped here for a "bathroom" break... our tour guide told us not to go near these plants, because rumor has it a bus carrying a rugby team broke down and the team had to camp out for the night. They made a fire with these plants, and the next day they were all dead. Rumor has it...
This is Hilmar posing with a tree... I cannot remember the name of it, but our tour guide told us the bushmen used the bark of these trees to make carrying cases for their spears.
This picture is a little blurry but behind me you can see the Fish River Canyon... the second largest canyon in the world (after guess what? The Grand Canyon).
Just a cool picture of some girls looking out over the canyon at sunset.

Cool pictures, kind of strange having to cross at patrolled crossings unlike at home. Keep up the cool postings
